Welcome to Chansons...Chansons is Perth’s own chamber choir, made up of about 40 singers drawn from across Perth & Kinross and Fife. We perform a varied and exciting musical repertoire from glorious baroque masterpieces to ‘Zimbe! Come sing the songs of Africa!’ by Alexander L’Estrange supported by a jazz ensemble.
We perform a minimum 3 concerts a year at various of Perth's great venues, including St John's Kirk and St Ninian's Cathedral with their wonderful acoustics. Occasionally we go out on tour and perform wider afield in neighbouring towns and villages. Singers will find the choir welcoming and friendly. Enquiries are encouraged, stating your voice part and experience. You will be invited to join us for a rehearsal to meet the choir and get a feel for the way we work. Our 2024-25 Season opens with a joint concert with our good friends, Ars Antiqua Kammerchor from Aschaffenburg, Perth’s twin city in Germany. Ars Antiqua have also brought their youth choir on this return visit for a musical celebration of the friendship of both cities.

Last season closed with a triumphant performance of famous Opera Choruses that was much enjoyed by an enthusiastic audience.
