On Saturday August 24th Chansons, Perth’s Chamber Choir, will be joined with Ars Antiqua Kammerchor from Aschaffenburg, Perth’s twin city in Germany for a Summer Concert of popular choral music. Ars Antiqua have also brought their youth choir on this return visit for a musical celebration of the friendship of both cities.
Amongst others, the concert will feature music by Holst, Hindemith, Brahms, Mendelssohn-Bartholdy and Vaughan-Williams. The choirs will perform individual items before joining together for a celebratory end to the evening. Please join Chansons Chamber Choir in St John's Kirk on Saturday August 24th at 7.30pm for what promises to be a delightful summer evening concert.
